I was tasked with a project in my Image Design class to make an album cover for one of our favorite artists, using an object we took a picture of, and the picture I chose was of a record. Luke Combs is my favorite musical artist and redesigning an album cover for his music was the perfect idea to me. His music is country with a little bit of pop and upbeat sound to it and it is played in a lot of bar scenes. I decided to make this cover like a neon sign you would see in a bar to represent his music in the way I see it. He also is known for having a beer in hand all the time he is on stage so what better way to represent his identity than with a neon bar sign, gaining inspiration for beer neon bar signs like Budweiser or Corona.
